We recently finished up a commercial shopping center as well! Although the building didn’t undergo any major color changes, the fresh coat on the exterior of the building was much needed. It will help keep this area looking bright and new for the next 25 years.

Keep Your Gutters Clean

Wednesday, July 26th, 2017

Gutters play an essential role in the upkeep of your home, but before they can do their job, you need to do yours!

Rain gutters are positioned to extend beyond the edges of a roof to collect both rain and hail runoff. They are usually located on every side of the home and are attached to  downspouts that carry water to the ground, keeping it away from the sides of the house.

However, it’s important that your gutters be inspected often to make sure they’re working properly. There are several signs that gutters either need to be cleaned or replaced.

First and foremost, keep an eye out for water stains. This is a tell tale sign that gutters need cleaning. Wood damage is another give away, along with a black color in between the edges and around the seams of your gutters.

If you find yellow stains along your home’s soffits, this can indicate gutter or roof leaks and should be addressed immediately to prevent flooding and water damage.

Always make sure that your gutters are free of leaves, as well as trees. Keeping trees and other hedges trimmed away from the house is essential in keeping your gutters working properly. If you find that trees are somehow growing out of your gutters, gutter guards and leaf guards can help!

Always remember, hand washing or pressure washing is the best way to keep gutters clean, clear, and functioning properly so that your home doesn’t look like this one:

Keep your gutters clean, because when they feel loved, so does your home! Commercial Projects Keep Us Busy

Monday, June 13th, 2016

The exterior home industry may be our forte, but we love taking on bigger projects as well. Weather it be a home, business, church, or school, every building needs a little tender loving care from time to time. This month we’ve started working on several commercial projects and are so excited to see what the finished product looks like.

Last week we started work on Shallowford Free Will Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia. This gorgeous church has been loved and cared for over the years, and doesn’t need a whole lot of work. Just a few exterior adjustments to help protect from harmful outside elements, and this church will be looking brand new in no time!

Back in 2004, we worked on Pinnacle Credit Union. Its main office is located in Atlanta, Georgia with a secondary branch located in Eatonton, Georgia near Lake Oconee. It’s been almost twelve years and this quaint little bank is still looking as great as it did years ago.

There are several other projects in the works, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Here at Rhino Shield, we work on almost any project we can get our hands on. From condos and apartment complexes, to churches and school buildings, banks and credit unions, small businesses and large businesses. We do it all! Our products are award winning, and so is our customer service, so let us know what we can do for you, no matter how big or large the project may be!
